Ashford Town competes in the following competitons:

East Invicta: 
Championship run by clubs in East Kent usually in October. Swimmers gain entry via quaification times.

Kent Championships: 
These championships are due to take place in February and early March 2009. Qualification times must be swum after 1st August 2008.

South East Counties:
These championships take place in May and June. Entry is gained by swimming qualification times at Licenced galas after 1st October.

Nationals:
Usually held in July or August, entry is gained by swimming qualification times at Licenced level 1 & 2 galas from 1st October 2008 to 31st May 2009.

Open galas: 
Held throughout the year. Entry forms and information gained from the Club Desk on Tuesdays. To be used by swimmers to gain entry to the above events. Swimmers in the squads are expected to enter Open galas regularly throughout the year.

In addition the club enters the following team galas, which are by selection only.

Development: 
A series of 6 galas hosted by Ashford, Hythe, Black Lion, Folkestone, Faversham and Dover. This level of competition has been designed to give team swimmers an opportunity to represent their club at an inter-club level where the emphasis is on developing all strokes to a similar standard. Ages 9 to 18.

Kent Junior League: 
We are in Division 3 of this league which is for swimmers aged 9 to 13. There are 3 galas held in June, September and November.

National Swimming League: 
We compete in Division One, South. The swimmers ages range from 9 to open. The league is swum over 3 galas which take place in October, November and December.

Kent Championship and East Invicta relay teams: 
Where appropriate we will enter teams in the relevant age group.
